The Problem

Modern brains fire ~40 thoughts/minute. Roughly 4 of them should be allowed to speak. The current pipeline has zero backpressure — raw brain output writes straight to the mouth, which then autocommits to your relationships. Rollback requires an apology text and, on holidays, a check.

The Timer

A thought that reaches the tongue starts a 300ms countdown. If a better thought arrives during the window, we reset. If nothing better arrives, the original ships. Set the window higher to become mysterious.
