Sidequest
“Your laundry, but with quest markers. Your trip to the DMV, but with a save point. Real-life errands turned into named RPG side quests by paid NPCs in your everyday locations. You will leave Costco with XP.”
The Problem
- return library books
- trader joe's
- drop pants at tailor
- renew car registration
- pick up prescription
- call mom
The Solution
Sidequest deploys lightly-paid NPCs (cashiers, baristas, hygienists, mailmen) who deliver flavor dialogue when you arrive. Your phone pings: QUEST ACCEPTED: The Cleansing Rite. Items drop. XP accumulates. You feel chosen.
NPC Script (delivered to barista’s earpiece)
“Brave traveler. The Bean Oracle has been expecting you. Your oat elixir is ready — but beware:the foam whispers of a Tuesday meeting that may yet test your resolve.”
[if customer makes eye contact] add: “you have grown stronger since last we met.”

The Ask
$6M seed for: 3 engineers, 2 narrative designers from a dead MMO, and a SAG carve-out for the 4,000 baristas we’re about to put on payroll as “Bean Oracle (Tier II).”
Series A pitch:“We’re TaskRabbit, but the task is your destiny.”
